Welcome to August, a month of boats and beaches here on the Isle of Wight. It’s also a hot time of the year for festivals, one of which we were so happy to be part of.
Our XV team took a few days off-island to host a stand at the Lymington Seafood Festival. The sun shone and it felt more like a break than work! We loved sharing space with our festival chum @myfunkybags – do check out her brilliant creations. The festival gave our Izzey and Vicky crucial time to regroup and chat about the second phase of our brilliant and beautiful company.
Most of the talk was about logistics: what we make, how we make it, who we employ, and what they do. It was great to have time and space to discuss how our business is developing and growing, and to realise that we’re happier than ever. We hope it shows in the beautiful accessories we’re creating.
As followers of our brand your input is so important, and the festival was a great chance for us to meet some of our clients in person. Many who visited the stand explained how they already knew us on social media – thanks to all of you who stopped to say hi.
Our July birthday heralded a fabulous four-week selection of special offers, and this is something we’ll be repeating every year. But if you want to get in on the action, you don’t have to wait until our second birthday next July!

Chatting to XV fans has really made our month, because it confirms what we always suspected – that you love us as much as we love you. It really is turning out to be a summer of love!
For now it’s full steam ahead towards the launch of our completely gorgeous collection with the Hampshire Wildlife Trust (September, mark the date!). We’ve also got our sights firmly set on stands at Clem’s Fairs in autumn and winter, so if you didn’t catch us this summer, look out for us there. We’ve made brilliant new inroads with our embroidery business, which is busier than ever, and the shop is buzzing so if you’re in Yarmouth do drop by. There’s a yummy ice cream shop next door, just saying!
