Welcome to autumn, dear XV followers. It’s been an interiors kind of a month, as it so often is at this time of year, with lots of our lovely clients enjoying our new made-to-measure wallpaper, curtains and blinds.
Your orders have been diverse – from a 20m sq wallpaper to a single 70cm length, and with a double choice of our Cowes and Cardinals ranges, you’ve all had a great time decorating, from the looks of the pics you’ve sent in. Some of you went ahead and pasted up the paper yourselves, some asked others to do it for you. Either way, the feedback has been positive – it seems you’ve been more than happy with the results, and that makes us happy too.
Surveys give us valuable feedback. From your answers in early October we learned which ranges you most enjoy; what you consider to be value for money; and why you love XV in general. ‘Unique’ and ‘quality’ are two words that came up more than once. We’re so glad, because those words are of huge importance to us, too.
The survey indicated that you might welcome the chance to purchase covers only, so from November we’ll be providing that option. Buying covers allows you to change your home scheme according to the seasons without having to buy inserts every time. That said, we’ll also be offering inserts to those who need more. We’re nothing if not diverse!
You also indicated how much you’ve enjoyed our Sea View range, which has been flying off the shelves at the Yarmouth shop. Meanwhile we’ve been busy at the design bench, signing off our new table linen range, and resizing twodesigns (Cowes and Seaview) to create napkins, tablecloths and runners. We can’t wait to hear what you think.
Everyone knows how much we love getting around to all the shows. Keep an eye out for us over the coming weeks at Highfield School in Liphook, Seaview Yacht Club and Knebworth. We’ll be bringing Christmas gifts to the stalls so you can get a head start on your shopping.
One of the biggest newbies from the XV stable is our brand new blankets, perfect for cosy pressies – you’ll want to rug up in one the minute you hold it. Made from warming Cotswold wool in our signature blue stripe, they’ve arrived just in time for winter.
Up next? The return of our Christmas fish made from scrap materials, fragrant candles, fun doorstops, a handful of Black Friday offers – oh, and Izzey’s bought a house in Brighstone. We think her new rooms will make a perfect setting for upcoming photoshoots.
See you in December, stay warm and well, with best wishes from all at XV.
