We can't believe we're almost halfway through the year. Spring is well underway and, with the onset of better weather, some of our XV team are already out at sea, taking part in racing events around the Isle of Wight.

We've partnered up with Key Yachting for a third year to sponsor the J-Cup Regatta, and are supporting them kit out their yachts for boat shows with our signature nautical, blue-striped bedding. All our new blue-on-bleu linen will be on board to create a harmonious, marine-themed vibe.

On dry land we've also made progress. We've finished the designs for our 2022 collection, and just taken receipt of those blue-on-blue duvet covers. You'll love the washbags from our homeware collection, designed with a striking blue interior, red zip and signature blue-stripe exterior. Following our sustainable code, we're planning to use remnant materials made by some lovely folks on the island, so each bag will had a ‘made by x’ personal label. You'll see we're making them in three brilliant sizes – a purse for coins and cards; a washbag for your holiday bits; and a larger laptop size for all your work essentials. They'll be up soon, so hop online and get your basket ready.

While we're on the subject of sustainable remnant use, keep an eye out for our limited-edition velvet cushions made from Designer's Guild fabric. This luxury collection of cushions has been crafted from plain velvet fabric with coloured piping. Made from soon-to-go offcuts in burgundy and navy blue, square and rectangular, they've a non-nautical style in plush fabric. We're only making eight of each so get 'em while they're hot.

You've been putting in a lot of orders for curtains and blinds, we're happy to report. Our printed fabric for homewares is from the Seaview range, using the same deep inky blue but a bigger print – ideal across our curtains and blinds. We love to think of this gorgeous print being used on a bigger scale in your homes, so do send pics if we've made some for you.

True to form we've got the band back for out-and-about events and you might have seen us at a recent spring fair: we attended Northwood House in April and Seaview in May. Next up is the Lymington Seafood Festival in July, so do pop by the stand if you're planning to attend.

Meanwhile, XV's Izzey will be taking part in the Vice Admirals Cup in mid-May and then she's off to Madeira, taking a boat to Alicante. No doubt she'll come back with yet more nautical homeware ideas to keep your homes looking gorgeous.

Happy sailing all!
